Roulette Royale is an exciting game of chance based on
traditional Roulette and is connected to multiple casinos powered by
Microgaming's advanced casino systems. Each time any number repeats the player
is awarded an additional win even if the player did not have a bet on the
winning number. If the same number repeats five times in a row then the
progressive jackpot is won. Roulette Royale accumulates deposits from its
players at all participating casinos and creates giant jackpots.

Roulette Royale is backed by PlayCheck, which enables players to
obtain a complete history of their game play for up to 7 days after they have
finished playing.
Roulette Royale is based on standard Roulette, and has a side bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. To play Roulette Royale you need to be a Real Account user.
The side bet is compulsory and is fixed at one credit. The side bet area on the table is marked with Jackpot Side Bet. The side bet feature is explained in the section The Jackpot Bet.
In Roulette Royale the bets are placed on an area of the table marked with separate boxes containing individual numbers. This marked area is called the game layout and is where you place your bets. For more information on the types of bets you can place, see the Types of Bets section.
The wheel determines the outcome of a game of Roulette. Once the bets have been placed on the table a small ball is released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. The ball slows and eventually stops in one of the numbered pockets in the Roulette wheel.
The Jackpot Bet
Roulette Royale is based on standard Roulette, and has a side bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. To win the Progressive Jackpot your must get the same number five times in succession.
The side bet is compulsory and is fixed at one credit. The side bet area is below the main bet area, and is marked with Jackpot Side Bet.
Standard Roulette rules and payouts apply. However, you can only receive Jackpot Bet payouts if you receive two or more numbers in succession.
The Progressive side bet payouts are shown in the Jackpot Bet paytable below:
Succession Side Game Win Amount Accumulated Side Game Winnings
Paid for this Spin over all spins in this run
2 15 15
3 200 215
4 3000 3215
5 Progressive Progressive + 3215
Note:
For 3, 4 and 5 successions you do not lose any winnings collected for prior successions.
Example 1:
If you get a 3 succession, the side bet on the first spin gets paid 0 and the side bet on the second spin gets paid 15, as that side bet achieved a 2 succession. The third side bet, on the third spin, wins 200 bringing the grand total for the side bet game for three spins to 215 credits.
Example 2:
If you get a 5 succession, you will be paid for each individual succession (15 + 200 + 3000) + the Progressive = 3215 + Progressive. However, if you win the Progressive by getting a number five times in succession and exit the game, when you re-enter the game the history palette will display that number. So, if you spin and receive the same number again the history palette will display it twice. However, this will not be counted as a 2 succession win as the first number is still from the Jackpot win.
The Progressive
The Progressive is a constantly accumulating prize, the value of which is displayed and regularly updated in the Roulette Royale game. The Progressive is displayed as credits not as coins. In other words, if the Progressive is 5,600 this refers to 5,600 CREDITS that could be won and not 5,600 coins.
If you are playing the Progressive and you get the same number five times in succession, you will win the Progressive Jackpot. A splash screen will display informing you that you have won the Progressive.
The Progressive will then reset to a fixed minimum value
Special Rules and Regulations Relating to the Progressive
To win the Progressive Jackpot you must get the same number five times in succession.
The Progressive is displayed as credits not as coins. In other words, if the Progressive is 5,600 this refers to 5,600 CREDITS that could be won and not 5,600 coins.
All Progressive winnings will be subject to final confirmation by the Casino and the software supplier. This decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Casino has taken every possible precaution to ensure that the Progressive value displayed in the game matches the value on the Casino server. Please note that it is the Progressive value on the server that is used when the Progressive is paid out.
Roulette Royale Features
The Spin button will start a game of Roulette by releasing the ball on to the wheel. You will only be allowed to spin if you have enough credits available to match the chips placed on the table.
The side bet is a compulsory bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. The side bet is fixed at one credit. The side bet area is below the main bet area, and is marked with Jackpot Side Bet. The side bet feature is explained in the section The Jackpot Bet.
The table felt is divided according to a traditional Roulette table. To read up on the different types of bets available, see the Types of Bets section. Left-click the table to place or increase a bet, and right-click to decrease a bet.
The Chip Size menu enables you to adjust the size of the increments of your bet. If you are using a chip size of 1, each click will only add or remove 1 from the current pile of chips on the table.
To place larger bet amounts on the table, hold down the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard and left-click an area of the table.
Individually, holding down the Control key places a bet of 10 credits on the table and holding down the Shift key places a bet of 20 credits on the table.
Holding down the Shift and Control keys together while placing a bet, will place an amount of 30 credits. However, holding down the Shift and Control keys together while placing a bet on a bet area where the table limit is 10 will only place a bet of 10 and not 30.
Note:
These features do however keep within the table limits and the user will be limited to placing bets less than, or equal to, the table limit for that particular bet area.
Example 1:
Holding down the Shift and Control keys together on your keyboard and left-clicking an Even Money Bet area, places a bet amount of 30 credits on the table. If you continue clicking, the bet amount increases by 30 credits until you have reached the maximum amount you can bet on an Even Money Bet.
Example 2:
Holding down the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard and left-clicking an individual number places a bet amount of 10 credits on the table. This is the maximum amount you can bet on an individual number.
Each bet type has a maximum amount of credits you can place per bet. This shortcut combination speeds up the process of placing these maximum amount bets.
The Undo, Redo, Clear and Repeat buttons enable you to quickly change the bets on the table.
The Undo button removes all changes made to the table since the last bet.
The Redo button reverses the undo action.
The Clear button removes all chips placed on the table.
The Repeat button will restore the betting state on the table to what it was before the previous spin of the wheel. And will replace any bets that were removed from the table.
A tooltip will only appear if the Bet Tip option in the drop down box is selected.
Playing the Game
There are two basic steps to follow to play a game of Roulette.
First, you must decide on the numbers, or groups of numbers, that you want to bet on. To place your bets on these numbers, left-click on the table felt. You can place chips on individual numbers or on the borders shared by two or more numbers. If you want to decrease or remove a bet from the table, right-click the chip pile.
The side bet is a compulsory bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. The side bet is fixed at one credit. The side bet area is above the main bet area, and is marked with Jackpot Side Bet. The side bet feature is explained in the section The Jackpot Bet.
Once you have placed your bet, click the Spin button to start the game and a small ball will be released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. The ball will lose speed and eventually stop in one of the numbered pockets in the wheel.
If the ball lands on a number that you have bet on, then you have won. To find out how much each bet is worth, refer to the Table Odds section.
